What pager do doctors use?
The majority of our clients that use pagers for healthcare related occupations use an alphanumeric pager or pager app on their smartphone or combination of both a pager and a pager app on their smartphone.
Alphanumeric pagers capable of receiving emailed word messages are the most commonly used and work well with answering services that many healthcare practitioners use.
In addition, due to the sensitive nature of some of the messages being sent to the pagers, encrypted pagers have become more popular as the pagers can't be duplicated the way non-encrypted pagers can so the messages will not be able to be intercepted.
