Why does PagersDirect have two websites?

We have 2 websites for different shopping experiences. pagersdirect.net is our classic site where you choose the pager and options yourself, while ai.pagersdirect.net lets you chat and ask questions with Albert, our online sales consultant, who can explain the options and help put your order together.

Similar to walking into a store where you pick the items that you want to purchase and then go the register to checkout (pagersdirect.net)

or

Go to a store where a personal shopping assistant will guide you, explain the products and services and answer your questions and then help you place the items in a shopping cart for checkout. (ai.pagersdirect.net)

Different shopping experiences based on whether you like to do it yourself or would like guidance.

Both pagersdirect.net and ai.pagersdirect.net offer the same pagers and services at the same prices...it's all about the shopping experience.  Today's latest technology allows us to offer this new shopping experience that didn't even exist until recently.  Ironically, the latest tech to offer technology that has been around for decades.
